NEW ORLEANS ― April 4, 2018 ― Students are cordially invited to submit abstracts of their current work to the 2018 Mining & Exploration International Conference & Expo (MEI2018). The deadline for abstracts is June 15, 2018.
Prizes of $500 each will be awarded to the three student posters that demonstrate excellence as selected by session sponsors.
Abstracts should address topics in one of the following areas:
-Workforce Development – Education, training, diversity and retention.
-Sustainability– Environmental and community impacts.
-Technology– Emerging technologies, including contributions to efficiency and safety.
Abstracts should be 500 words or fewer, with a short description of the student’s background. Submissions should be sent to the Conference Director, Madalena Maestri, at madalena@miningexplorationintl.com.
MEI2018, www.miningexplorationinternational.com, will be held September 6, 2018 through September 8, 2018, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.
